Canton Jones is defining a whole new music genre. By far one of the most versatile christian rap artists in the music and entertainment industry.

The name Canton Jones is synonymous with words such as: Holy Hip Hop, new generation christian rap artist, as well as the new age powerhouse gospel singer who exudes sincerity and massive amounts of soulful gospel music energy. Jones is considered not only a gospel rap artist, but he is also a songwriter, producer and vocal arranger.

The product of a music-inspired family, Canton Jones discovered his passion for music at a very early age. By age five, Jones was already singing with a local quartet founded by his father.

At 16, Jones was producing his own tracks as well as tracks for other local artists. Canton later relocated to Atlanta to attend Morehouse College and began singing with the school's world-renowned glee club - touring the world and performing for the likes of Oprah Winfrey, Stevie Wonder, Dr. Bobby Jones, and the late Ray Charles.

Inspired by the obvious call on his life, Canton recorded his first solo project in 2003. The independent release of 20 Years 3 Months 12 Days which chronicles his path to salvation and earmarks the day he met his wife, Ramona Jones.

This project paved the way for the grassroots success of the original release of The Password: Access Granted in 2004 which led to Canton's national debut with Love Jones in summer 2005.

2008 ushered in Canton Jones’ highly anticipated new album release, Kingdom Business, which is taking the world by storm. The anticipated album of Canton Jones, Kingdom Business, Vol. 2 was recently released worldwide on Arrow Records.

More than an gospel artist, he represents a philosophy, a movement, and a generation of believers who are relentless in their pursuit to bridge the gap between the church and the streets.

With funky lyrics that commands the body to want to get up and dance for the Lord, Canton Jones has touched on the right notes to move today’s youth.
