Country Music is also characterized mainly by spiritual themes and twangy instrumentation. This music has been around for many generations. Its resulting origins are a blend of early mountain music, cowboy music and the music from the plantations of the Deep South.

All over the world and through out it, many churches have sprung up around the country with country gospel music as their main musical format. This type of country music can also be found in such churches which are also known as Cowboy Churches.
