A native of Camden, New Jersey, Tye Tribbett -- husband, father of two, Gospel singer, songwriter, producer, preacher and business man -- has touched many people across the world with his message. He realizes and recognizes that it is all the "anointing of God."

In 1996, Tye founded a gospel choir called Greater Anointing (G.A.), consisting of a group of family and friends whose hearts and minds were set simply on praising the Creator through their gift of great music and delivering a series of passionate gospel performances celebrating and sharing the glory of God's Kingdom.

Tye Tribbett & G.A. were going about the business of doing the music the Lord wanted them to do.

After singing backup for multiple mega-artists such as Faith Hill, Don Henley, Luther Vandross, Stevie Wonder and Elton John, just to name a few, in a twist of irony or of absolute faith, you could say that the group was learning to "let go and let God move".

This move would prove to be tremendious in allowing Tye and the G.A. group to move forward with the plan that God had in store for them. From hearing their inspirational music and seeing how the lyrics affects ones heart, I think Tye has touched many with his message. He recognizes that it is all the "anointing of God."

He has traveled the world over spreading the word with innovation, sencerity and unrivaled passion.

Today, Tye Tribbett and the members of Greater Anointing are a family united in ministry and spreading the "good news."
