He explains his view of the song:

Going home after saying good-bye to a loved one or a life long friend. It's just those sad moments we, as a people must face at least once in our lifetime. By the grace of God we console ourselves in the darkest of hours from our loss.

With the help from our Heavenly Father, we can overcome our loss in this life with the assurance of a Heavenly home and re-united homecoming with our loved-ones.
